We are on a journey to transform our current BI and reporting infrastructure from multiple legacy tools and solutions to a standard that will be used across Randstad globally (Google Big Query - Tableau). The ideal candidate must possess advanced SQL skills, a strong business analyst background and data validation QA experience. The candidate should have a demonstrable record of being able to juggle multiple priorities throughout the day.**Position Objective**The Sr. Business Systems Analyst day-to-day activities includes: strategic system analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and developing and executing an effective data validation strategy before the final dashboard is built. The successful Sr. Business Systems Analyst will be the functional expert and bridge between business users and our development team. They will drive delivery of new dashboards and enhancements. The candidate must be inquisitive, detail oriented, and highly motivated, and they must possess excellent communications skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, changing, high pressure environment.This role will focus on the the following area and require knowledge & skills in the technologies outlined:+ Report design, data analysis, data mapping, data validation across multiple sources, and Advanced SQL**Duties and Responsibilities**+ Requirements/Acceptance Criteria:+ Independently completes work with minimal supervision, guides others.+ Self Starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills.+ Strong time management and organizational skills.+ Translate business requirements into functional capabilities.+ Identify appropriate data sources (system of record) when there is ambiguity.+ Drive consensus across the business when necessary and appropriate+ Testing:+ Support all testing needs for defined changes.+ Primary focus is data validation from multiple sources at the database layer (oracle, sql server, bigquery)+ Develop and execute test plans, report results and communicate resolution to users.+ Consider current and future business implications.+ Assist in problem resolution and architecture of requirements.+ Triage and prioritize defects identified in all stages of testing for resolution+ Effectively document and communicate defects and impacts to business owners as well as the technical team+ Stakeholder Management:+ Manages stakeholder expectations & competing priorities.+ Frequent contact with equivalent level inter-organizational associates concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements or contractual clarification.+ Attends technical meetings with internal and external representatives.+ Responsive and diplomatic.+ Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of company personnel.+ Ability to maintain positive relationships through changing project requirements and priorities in a deadline-driven, dynamic work environment.+ Meet deadlines, and exceed goals in high-pressure situations.+ Customer focus.+ Act as liaison between the business and development groups and be the functional driver for business and technology solution requests, including projects, enhancements, upgrades, patches, break fixes, etc.+ Product Support:+ Complex Troubleshooting - helps others.+ Strong business and technology acumen (Agile Methodologies, Full SDLC).+ Provide valued system analysis of business and user needs.+ Research and recommend design solutions for proposed initiatives..**Education**+ Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Business or Computer Science or equivalent and 3 - 5 years of progressive, documented experience as a business-system analyst or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.**Work Experience**+ 7 years of experience Defining, analyzing and crafting Req/User stories and Acceptance Criteria+ 7 years of Working in a fast paced IT environment and utilizing SDLC Methodologies - Agile/LEAN (preferred), Waterfall,+ 7 years of Specified systems/technology experience+ 4 years of Project management and testing experience+ Expert Proficiency with: Wireframe, Mock Ups, Process Mapping, Visio, and MS Office Suite as applicable for team+ 3 years of Progressive, documented experience integrating business technology in a comparable technical environment+ Staffing industry experience and/or advanced degree is a plus+ Keep abreast of new, emerging or potential alternative solutions to meet business needs+ Advanced business analysis skills: business case development, business process design, application usability and structured testingThe base salary range for this position is 91,770.00 - 130,700.00.At Randstad, we know employees that are cared for holistically have the confidence to bring their fullest potential to work, so we make investments in our people.Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate's total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s).
