Responsibilities:
Lead analyst responsible for evaluating, designing, building, testing, resolving issues with, and maintaining Cerner applications. Mentors and serves as a team-builder for other Application System Analysts. Resolves complex problems that may involve various groups across functional lines and exercises independent judgment in developing processes, techniques, and success factors.Reports:IT/Application Programming Mgr (JC: 243501)Supervises:None

Qualifications:
Required Education:Minimum: Bachelor's Degree Human Resources may substitute experience for education on a 1:1 basis.Required Experience: Five (5) years of experience developing and supporting Cerner applications. Experience credited toward the minimum required experience will not be credited in lieu of formal education above.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Advanced level Cerner Command Language (CCL) experience. Experience with all Cerner Discern suite applications. Experience with Cerner custom EKM Rules development. Experience collaborating with clinical/financial/operational departments throughout the healthcare environment. Experience in software development. Project implementation and conversion experience. Expert knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS). Familiarity with multiple Cerner applications and how they interconnect. Familiarity with best design practices, and patterns and principles in their modeling. Knowledge of Cerner's data model. Good writing skills. Good interpersonal skills.
