We are a locally run, family-oriented, proudly serving your community, and are looking for talented techs like you to grow with us!*WHAT YOULL DO** Perform essential maintenance, including DOT inspections on semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.* Clean and maintain assigned work areas, including common shop areas and facility grounds, e.g., maintain recyclables, address fluid spills, and organize bulk storage of tires and barrels.* Dispense vehicle fuels and other essential fluids.* Complete required forms and input required information into the fleet management information system in a timely manner.* Respond to disabled vehicles in the field during or after normal business hours.* Perform routine preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to: lubrication and oil changes; seat repair; brake, wheel, tire, and battery services; belt, hose, headlight, and basic component replacement.* Perform basic to intermediate skill-level repair work on fleet vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to the alternator, starter, water pump replacement, and auxiliary equipment installation.* Perform basic to intermediate troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical/electrical problems.* Perform DOT-mandated safety inspections on fleet vehicles.*WHAT YOULL NEED TO HAVE** 4+ years of verified experience of Tractor-Trailer repair experience* Valid Drivers License with acceptable driving record* Ability to lift 100+ pounds* Basic Computer Skills to submit repairs for billing* Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks* Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders*WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT** Experience with welding* High School Diploma or equivalent* Class A CDL*WHAT WE OFFER YOU** Paid Time Off including holidays* 401(k) with company match after 90 days of employment* Free Dental and Vision Plan for Employee* Health Insurance* HSA plan* Disability Insurance* Life Insurance* Employee assistance program* Boot reimbursement programs* Save on commute costs take your truck home with you* Fuel card* Experienced team you can learn from* Opportunities for growth in partner businesses nationwide* Overtime opportunities* M-F w/ rotating on-call* Reimburse CDL-A license*COMPANY INFO*At Truckers 24 we strive to keep our customers on the road and help them return home safely.
