Department - Technology Operations UnitResponsibilities The
Division of Enrollment Management is comprised of four distinct
units: , , , and Technology Operations. Enrollment Managements
integrated services provide distinctive support throughout the
students development and progression in their academic experience
from recruitment through commencement. Through collaboration,
communication, and commitment, all units within Enrollment
Management achieve the highest level of student-centered service to
current and prospective students and families as well as to campus
partners across the University. The Technology Operations Unit
within Enrollment Management provides technology support,
technology-based solutions, systems configuration, identity and
data management, and analysis across the division. The unit works
closely with subject matter experts in Admissions, Registrar, and
Financial Aid to meet the operational and reporting needs of
various stockholders across campus.This position is responsible for
providing analysis functions to the Office of Enrollment Management
and serves as the department's technical expert, report developer
and liaison for Technolution's Slate. Responsible for the
development, assessment, and dissemination of departmental data.
Serves as part of the Slate core team for outreach, training and
implementation for new and current constituents.Coordinates the use
of Slate for the consistent, efficient communications with
prospective/current students and their agents. Creates and analyzes
import configurations for the update of contacts in Slate using
existing data stores; designs workflows for proactive
communications (e-mail, phone calls, and printed materials);
develops reader dashboards for use in admission application
evaluations; and has general business administration duties for
Slate. Assists in developing strategies to further leverage of
Slate features.Develops and maintains Business Intelligence reports
and dashboards for use by functional end users across campus.
Utilizes the current Business Intelligence software to assess and
analyze information in order to respond to official requests for
Enrollment Management data. Meets with clients to determine data
needs in order to create informational databases. Analyzes data to
ensure it is correct and presented in a logical, consistent manner
for timely dissemination. Makes recommendations to senior
leadership for the enhancement or creation of Business Intelligence
subject areas.Collects and analyzes Enrollment Management data to
respond to surveys that profile FSU for publications and University
reporting. Maintains historical documentation relating to various
survey companies. Assists with the gathering and evaluating of
Enrollment Management data for Board of Governor (BOG) reporting.
Assists with identity management.Provides support to departmental
and administrative clients in the use of Slate and current Business
Intelligence software as well as their best practices. Maintains
documentation for training purposes on these products.Coordinates
with external representatives in the retrieval and validation of
data and materials from third party services. Assists in developing
strategies to aid in streamlined data management. Makes
recommendations to senior leadership for the enhancement of overall
processes.Qualifications A Bachelor's degree and two years of
experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of
experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and
experience equal to six years.)Preferred Qualifications
