REMOTE Call Center Agent

Seasonal Position-Work From Home

Starting Hourly Pay: $12/hr.

Brandt Information Services, headquartered in Tallahassee, FL, has openings for its inbound Call Center for Remote Seasonal Call Center Agents. This position supports in-bound telephone customers with hunting and fishing licenses; camping reservation and park passes; and processing applications. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and customer service skills and enjoys working in a friendly environment supported by a knowledgeable team of supervisors. To prepare you for this role, you will be provided with paid, comprehensive training. Computer equipment, monitor(s), and headset provided.

Expected start date is the first week in April, 2023.

Job Duties:

• Accepting 98% inbound phone calls from customers interested in purchasing hunting or fishing licenses. NO SALES QUOTAS, all customer assistance.
• Answering basic inquiries about hunting/fishing regulation while navigating the state wildlife agency website.
• Providing callers with application/website support and basic troubleshooting.
• Processing license/permit sales for customers following issuance requirements and procedures.
• Assisting with license fulfillment.
• Providing Point of Sale agent callers with basic hardware and application troubleshooting including internet/connectivity, site access, user account management/password resets; technical site errors/issues, and more.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by a supervisor. Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Internet speed of 10 mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net)
  • Private work area and adequate power source
  • Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice
  • Strong computer and internet skills
  • Must be punctual and self-motivated
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check pursuant to Brandt's contractional requirements with its government agency customers.
  • Experience in customer service and/or call center experience preferred but not required. Pay & Benefits:
